Lodge accommodation and guided walks for 1 or 2 people.
Alternatively you may substitute fly-fishing tuition and/or a visit to local fishing spots for a walk.
Includes all meals, accommodation and one wild forest walk (or other half day walk or fly-fishing experience on request)
3 night package
Lodge accommodation and guided walks for 1 or 2 people.
Includes all meals, accommodation and one wild forest walk (or other half day walk or fly-fishing experience on request)
Family package
Special three day package for parents with children under school age with up to two children.
All meals and accommodation for three days. Meals at times to suit the family and prepared to your requirements.
The lodge is uncluttered and there is plenty of opportunity for young children to play outdoors.
Fly-fishing
Anyone fly-fishing in Tasmania requires a license to fish. Licenses are available at the local shop in Meander or through Tasmanian Service Centres.
Independent fly-fishing tuition with our local guide takes about 1 hour and costs $50p/p.
If you are already an expert then a 3 hour guided tour to local fishing spots and local tackle advice will cost $100p/p.
Local flies are available for sale at Forest Walks Lodge. The stream is available all day long for practice.
